Unreal Engine 3 update suprisingly Real

So Epic Games just released a video showing off the update to their already powerful and widely used Unreal Graphics Engine.  What do new features such as subsurface scattering, bokeh depth of field tricks and improved tessellation mean?  It means all those Zombie Nazis will look even more realistic than ever before.  Here's a REAL-TIME demo (meaning that's what the graphics could look like in an actual game).  You'll want to watch in 1080p:

INSANE right?  right?! I don't know if its just me, but I'd totally rather watch a whole movie with this awesome engine than watch Mars Needs Moms, which uses pre-rendered computer animation to create really awkward looking humans.

Can't wait to see what developers do with this update.  Here's hoping they use it with the new and much needed reboot of Tomb Raider.
