Following my last post, I was already content with my favorite hobby. Then I read this wonderful news:
80 video games selected for Smithsonian art exhibit
Now I can say with a certain amount of factual clout that Videogames are indeed, Art. Word.
The list of games may not have hit all of my favorites, but I'll take what I can get. At least two favorites of mine made the list, Einhander (Spent so much time on this wicked side-scrolling shooter) and Shadow of the Colossus (Most beautiful game I have ever played), among many other classics. If only it weren't being displayed on the other side of the country :(
